My Testimony

I think it is appropriate for my first blog to be my testimony! Well, I'm a preacher's kid! I have been since day 1! I was raised in the church! Sunday morning, Sunday night, Wednesday night, whenever those doors were open we were there! And I am SO thankful to my parents for raising me that way! Since I was born, my dad has pastored 4 churches. Macedonia Baptist Church, Okie Ridge Baptist Church, Bronson First Baptist and the one that he just started pastoring, Fairfax First Baptist! When he was the pastor at Okie Ridge, I claimed to have accepted Jesus as my Lord and I was baptised. But, it was until February of 2002 when we were at First Baptist Bronson that I realized that I was truely lost and I needed my God to save me. You should have seen the people's faces. The PREACHER'S kid, not saved at the age of 14?!?! I think they thought that PK's were born saved! :) Anyways, my God saved me that day and I have never felt better! My dad baptised me for the 2nd time but this time I meant it! I LOVE my God and I thank Him everday for saving me!
